Mayor Flaggs meets with Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority at Vicksburg Port

Mayor George Flaggs Jr. met with members of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) on Friday when they visited the Vicksburg Port.

State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, BIWTA Chairman Commodore Golam Sadeq and representatives of the Ministry of Shipping and BIWTA, among others, were present during the port visit.

During the meeting, Flaggs praised the Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the strides the country has made in different sectors of government.
