Mayor Flaggs provides a statement on the status of repairs around the area
Listen to this articleAs of 4:10 p.m. Friday, the following was issued by Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs Jr.:
“100% of damage assessed
48 broken poles
90 spans of wire down
21 areas of trees down
9 damaged transformers
Areas being worked: Watkins Road, Vann Drive, Dogwood Lake Drive, and Mosley Gap Road.
320 customers remaining to be restored in Warren County.”
Please remember that any barricades in place are to protect you from the work area, as debris and live wires may be of concern. Please heed any detours and allow the work crews to safely recover the areas.
