Vicksburg native, McKenzie Cole, will be gracing the runway at the upcoming New York Fashion Week. Scheduled to appear for Jovani Fashions, McKenzie will be part of a show set to be streamed live from GlassHouse NYC on Friday, September 8th, at 5 p.m. central. Viewers can catch the event on Jovani’s official YouTube channel. The show will also feature other notable figures, including Haley Kalil, Taylor Hale, and Jen Selter.

McKenzie was recognized as a JOVANI It Girl semi-finalist, becoming one of the 25 chosen from across the nation. This selection led her to participate in a special showcase of JOVANI’s new collections in Atlanta.

The JOVANI It Girl program, initiated in 2015, annually selects 25 semi-finalists, providing them an opportunity to model the brand’s newest lines. These selected participants are later narrowed down to a few finalists, who are then given a chance to visit New York, participate in professional shoots, and engage in various activities in the city. The program concludes with the selection of one Jovani It Girl, while other finalists earn the title of JOVANI Ambassadors, receiving scholarships and gowns.

For Vicksburg, having McKenzie Cole in New York Fashion Week is a testament to local talent making waves on international platforms.
