The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks announced their hunting seasons for migratory birds and water fowl for the 2021-22 hunting seasons on Friday.
Warren County and the surrounding areas fall in the Southern region for hunting requirements. Dove season begins September 4 in both areas with hunting beginning at a half hour before sunrise.
All hunters 16 or over are required to purchase the Mississippi Electronic Waterfowl Stamp and the Federal Duck Stamp when hunting migratory waterfowl.
