Meet Vicksburg’s employee of the quarter: Anne Doyle

Anne Doyle was named the first Employee of the Quarter by the City of Vicksburg Monday.
The award is given to a city employee who serves in an exceptional manner while maintaining a positive attitude. Employees are judged on a point system based on attitude, commitment, personal skills, work performance and personal traits.
Doyle has worked for the Vicksburg Fire Department as the fire chief’s administrative assistant for 25 years under five different chiefs.
“I feel honored,” Doyle said.
Doyle grew up in Vicksburg and she graduated from Warren Central High School. She went on to get a bachelor of arts degree at Mississippi State University.
Doyle has been married to Mike Doyle for 27 years. He works in the Geotechnical and Structures Lab at ERDC. She is the mother of an incoming college freshman at Mississippi State University and a Warren Central High School sophomore. She has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church choir for many years, and the whole family is heavily involved in the church and serving the community.
“I have really enjoyed my time working with firefighters and emergency medical personal,” Doyle said. “I am proud of the work that the fire department does, and I am proud to be a part of that.”
