MEMA cuts hours of state’s coronavirus hotline

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has reduced the hours for the state’s COVID-19 coronavirus hotline.

Announced in a tweet Saturday, the new hours will be 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., seven days a week.

The number is 877-978-6453.

NEW HOURS: Beginning today, the Mississippi COVID-19 Hotline will be open from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM every day. pic.twitter.com/IQEDwSLqJi
