The Memphis University football team will have a BLM sticker on their helmets this season to show support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Head coach Ryan Silverfield announced the decision Tuesday on Twitter, and he included the hashtag #ALLINagainstRACIALINJUSTICE in his tweet.

Silverfield also posted a tweet in June showing his support for the movement.

“The use of the BLM logo on a helmet decal was an idea from our student-athletes,” Silverfield wrote in a text message to The Commercial Appeal newspaper. “It doesn’t mean we support any anti-American, violent organization or hate group or any specific political party. In fact, I love this country and I love our players. Rather the decal is a show of support to our team.”

The tweet has been shared by many of the Memphis players who seem to support the move.
