MHSAA adds 7A classification for sports beginning in 2023

The Mississippi High School Activities Association has voted to add 7A classification to high school athletics beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.

The executive committee held a vote on Thursday where the decision was announced.

The 72 most populated schools will classified 5A-7A .
