Mike Foley selected to coach in the MAIS All-Star Softball Game

VICKSBURG, MS – St. Aloysius softball coach Mike Foley has been selected to coach in the MAIS All-Star Game. Foley will serve as the Head Coach for the 4A-6A Blue Team.

“I’m very honored to be selected to be selected it’s a true testament to how hard the girls have worked because I wouldn’t have been selected without them or the coaching staff,” Foley said.

Foley was hired at St. Aloysius in 2023 where he led the Flashes to their first winning season in nearly a decade. The Lady Flashes went 15-9 in 2023 under Foley’s leadership. In 2024, St. Aloysius returned to the 5A District Tournament.

Coach Foley began his coaching career in recreational and travel softball in 2000 in Arkansas. Since moving to Vicksburg in 2007, Coach Foley has been affiliated with the Vicksburg Girls Softball Association from umpiring to coaching and also held board membership positions including President.

Coach Mike Foley will be assisted by Canton Academy’s Sarah Ratcliff.

The All-Star game takes place Wednesday, October 16 at Jackson Prep at 4:15 pm.
