Miller’s Southern Comfort Food, a beloved local eatery, is making a comeback. While its original establishment at 3144 Indiana Avenue burned down due to a lightning strike in March, resilience is on the menu. The business has now opened a food truck at its former location.

Miller’s first opened its doors in 2023. Since then it has become a favorite among residents.

“We’ve always wanted to open a Vicksburg home-cooked meal restaurant,” said owner Miller Rials in a past interview. “We are housed in an old fast food building but we’re not fast food. We cook everything from scratch and with love.”

After the fire, the resturant announced it planned to carry on with plans of a food truck. On Monday, Miller’s words became reality.

Fans of Miller’s can relish in some favorites or explore new delights Monday through Friday, from 11am to 7pm.
