Missing 77-year-old out of George County

Press release from the George County Sheriff’s Office:

The George County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating the following missing person.

Howard Lamar Moseley is a 77-year-old white male with gray hair and brown eyes who was last seen in the vicinity of his home in the 200 block of Walter Havard Road in the central community, at approximately 5:30 p.m., April 12, 2023.

Mr. Moseley left his home on foot wearing a camouflage shirt, an orange hat, and blue jeans, with the stated destination of checking his cow field behind his home. Mr. Moseley has a medical condition that may impair his judgement. If you believe you may have seen this gentleman since 5:30 yesterday afternoon, or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the George County Communications Center at 601-947-9156, or call your local law enforcement.

Mr. Moseley will be entered as a Missing Person on NCIC soon, and a Silver Alert may be issued.
