Four Mississippi daycare workers arrested last year following a video showing them scaring young children were not indicted on felony charges but still face misdemeanor charges, WLBT reports.

Last year, four daycare workers, Sierra McCandless, Oci-Anna Kilburn, Jennifer Newman and Shyenne Shelton, were arrested in Mississippi and accused of felony child abuse.

A video surfaced online showing individuals believed to be the daycare workers at Lil’ Blessings Childcare and Learning Center wearing Halloween masks and frightening children. The children were clearly distressed, crying and screaming. One of the videos captured them laughing about their actions.

The videos quickly gained attention worldwide, with some parents appearing on The Dr. Phil Show to discuss the incident.

In addition to the four workers, Traci Hutson was also arrested and charged with failure to report abuse and simple assault against a minor, both charges are misdemeanors.
