‘Mississippi Miracles Radiothon’ raises over $400,000


The 20th edition of the “Mississippi Miracles Radiothon” raised $443,943 for Children’s Hospitals of Mississippi, according to Annie Oeth, spokeswoman for UMMC. This brings the total to just over 7.1 million dollars raised by the Radio People family of stations.
Vicksburg stations River 101, KHITS 104.5 and 92.7 The Touch participated along with their counterparts from Jackson and Meridian. The Radio People are owned by brothers Bob and Clay Holiday and their respective families. Their companies own and operate stations in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana,
