A Vicksburg man on Mississippi’s Most Wanted list has turned himself in.

Monday night, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace received a call from an area pastor that Oscar Christopher McNeil, 34, wanted to surrender to the Sheriff.

McNeil turned himself in to Sheriff Pace and Sgt. Jessie Tilley in the back lot of the Sheriff’s office just after 8 p.m. Monday.

McNeil was wanted for aggravated assault and armed robbery in Jefferson County in connection to an incident that occurred in October 2018. McNeil also had a warrant from Warren County for the sale of cocaine from 2018 Vicksburg Police Department case where he failed to appear in court.

McNeil will have an initial appearance in Warren County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon before being transported to Jefferson County.
