Mississippi opens shelters around state for evacuees

Mississippi is opening its doors to those who may be stranded on their way back home to Louisiana.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol has announced the opening of several shelters in the state:

Kiln Safe Room

Hinds County:
Jackson Police Training Academy

Opening at 7 p.m.:

Poplarville Safe Room
