Mississippi’s own, Chapel Hart, has made their way into the final round of America’s Got Talent.

On July 19, the country music trio wowed America on stage and received the Golden Buzzer from all the judges and Terry Crews.

The group won the judges and audience over with their upbeat approach and their original country song, “You Can Have Him Jolene”. The song is an updated version of the Dolly Parton classic from 1973. “We figured though that from 1973 to 2022 we could not still be fighting over the same man,” said lead singer, Danica Hart. “So we decided you can just have him, Jolene.”

The band is made up of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and their cousin, Trea Swindle. “These ladies have found a way to gift wrap their Mississippi roots & Louisiana spunk and share it with listeners around the world.”

Chapel Hart has been enjoying a lot of attention since that night and drew a crowd when they performed at the pavilion at Founders Square at the Neshoba County Fair on July 23.

On Wednesday, the trio performed an original song “The Girls Are Back in Town” which drew an overwhelmingly positive response from the crowd and judges.

The series finale of America’s Got Talent will premiere on Sep. 14.
