Missy Gators advance to second round of the playoffs after two big wins on Tuesday

The Vicksburg High School softball team took a huge 6-2 win in game two over New Hope, taking the series into a third match.

Jamie Ward really stepped up for VHS by leading with 3 RBIs.

Sha’Niya Lockridge, Kistler, and Trinity McGloster all had hits in game 2 which kept the Missy Gators alive.

In game 2, the Missy Gators showed they came to play as Madelyn McAdam pitched the team to victory.

Both Kistler and Lockridge went 3 for 4 in the win, while Kistler also hit a home run in the fifth inning, along with four RBIs.

The Missy Gators racked up eight hits in the 9-6 win and will now happily advance to the second round of the playoffs.
