Missy Gators basketball team wins the Pre-National Tune Up Tournament in Texas

Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team traveled to Murphy, Texas over the weekend and won the Pre-Nationals Tune Up Tournament.

The Missy Gators brought home four victories in the tournament where they were led by head coach Troy Stewart.

On Saturday, VHS defeated Texas Terps 58-13 and turned around to crush ATX Takeover 64-23.

On Sunday, they grabbed a 51-39 win over JAB before taking down Team Takeover in a close 70-69 victory.

The Missy Gators are currently playing summer basketball and preparing for their upcoming season where most of the team is returning for another great year.
