Missy Gators crushed Jim Hill 19-0 in the district opener

Vicksburg High School softball team punished Jim Hill 19-0 in a district match on Thursday.

The first six run scores came from stolen bases until Avery VanNorman stepped up and tripled for the Missy Gators.

Still in the first inning VHS was up 10-0 when Lexi Kistler tripled which led to two run scores. Kellisia Walker also stepped up and got a big hit along with two RBIs.

Vijae Flaggs capped off the first inning with a inside-the-park home run as the Missy Gators went up 17-0.

VHS were able to get JH off the field quick in the second inning and went back to hitting.

Charli VanNorman doubled in the second as the Missy Gators continued to dominate over the Tigers.

Kistler pitched VHS to victory by striking out nine batters and allowing no hits.
