Missy Gators defeated Franklin County 10-7 on Friday

The Vicksburg High School softball team, the Missy Gators, got a big win on Friday against Franklin defeating them 10-7.

Lexi Kistler pitched the game for the Missy Gators where she struck out 10 batters in the victory. Her great arm came in handy on Friday to give VHS a much-needed win after coming off two losses last week.

Kistler, Sha’Niya Lockridge, and Trinity McGloster all managed to get big hits in the game, which led to multiple scores being made by the Gators.

VHS will be back in action on Tuesday to face crosstown rivals Warren Central with JV starting at 5:00 p.m.
