Missy Gators defeated Loyd Star 6-1 on Thursday

The Vicksburg High School softball team came up with a big win in Thursday’s non-conference away game.

Makyia Adams, Charli VanNorman, Lili Kistler and Trinity McGloster all took in points for the Gators.  Madelyin McAdam secured the win, striking out 12 batters while only giving up three hits and one run score.

The Missy Gators proved teeth can do more damage than stingers. By obtaining multiple run scores and outpacing the Hornets, the Gators walked away with 6 points to Loyd Star’s 1.

The Missy Gators will be at home on Monday to play against Pearl.

Junior Varsity begins at 5:00 p.m. and Varsity at 6:00 p.m.
