Missy Gators defeated Madison St. Joe on Thursday

Vicksburg High School’s softball team faced off against Madison St. Joe on Thursday and took the victory with a final score of 13-8.

Pitcher Lexi Kistler was on the mound for the Missy Gators. She managed to strike out three batters on the night.

Avery VanNorman and teammate Trinity McGloster both scored two runs apiece to help with the Gators victory.

Sha’Niya Lockridge also stepped in to get a piece of the action and attained one RBI with two run-scores.

The Missy Gators will be back in action on Monday as they travel to face Pearl.
