Vicksburg High School softball team crushed Ridgeland on Friday 23-4 in game one of the second round of the playoffs.

“We played amazing to say Ridgeland thought they were going to have the upper hand on us and we showed them today that they didn’t and hopefully tomorrow we go out and do the same thing,” Kellisia Walker said.

The Missy Gators came out swinging hard with RBIs by Jordan Grace, Kellisia Walker, Lexi Kistler, Amari Johnson, and Trinity McGloster to help VHS go up 8-1 in the first inning.

Walker and Charli VanNorman both got big hits in the second followed by a double by Lexi and Lili Kistler while they continued to run up the score with a 12-4 lead.
