Missy Gators grabbed a 59-51 win over Legion Academy on Wednesday

Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team defeated Legion Academy 59-51 on Wednesday.

Layla Carter put up 22 points in the win and teammate Destini Sims contributed 14. Ja’Na Colenburg came up with nine points while Kierra James finished with six.

The Missy Gators went 2-1 in the Tournament and they will face Callaway on Jan. 4.
