Missy Gators on a six-game winning streak after beating Callaway

The Vicksburg High School girls basketball team blew out Callaway Friday night in a 75-48 win.

Destiny Sims and Layla Carter both showed out for the Missy Gators las they led the team to victory. Sims put up 25 hard-fought points while Carter dropped 20 in the win. Janiah Caples also scored in double digits, finishing the game with 10 points.

Vicksburg controlled the clock most of the game and were able to make easy baskets all night.

The Missy Gators are now on a six-game winning streak under head coach Troy Stewart. They will look to expand that streak Tuesday when they play Provine at home.
