Missy Gators picked up two wins last week
Vicksburg High School’s softball team picked up two wins last week.
VHS vs. Cleveland Central
The Missy Gators defeated Cleveland Central 3-2, with Lili Kistler getting a single to put VHS on the board first.
Jordan Grace singled next, following a steal from Shandrea Lockridge, to win the game.
Amari Johnson and Lexi Kistler also had hits in the win, while Grace struck out nine and allowed only one hit.
VHS vs. Riverside
The Missy Gators crushed Riverside 17-3, racking up a total of 13 hits.
Vijae Flaggs led the charge at the plate, going 3 for 3 with four RBIs. Harmony Harris had two hits with three RBIs, while Amari Johnson and Kistler both had two hits.
Anzley Keen and Kistler also contributed with a hit each. Kistler struck out six in the win, and VHS will host Madison Central on Tuesday.
