Missy Gators punish Provine 71-34 on Tuesday

Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team crushed Provine on Tuesday 71-34. VHS left no chance for Provine to have hope in the game as they left last night with a huge win.

Layla Carter took over for the Missy Gators by finishing the night with 16 points in the easy victory. The sophomore showed that she had no problem getting to the goal to score big points for her team.

Eighth grader Cynia Johnson also stepped up big as she dropped 10 points along with teammate Kalia Bland. Destiny Sims also added nine points and Kierra James and Na’Dajah Smith put up eight.

The Gators will travel to Provine this Friday to try and repeat a big win just as they had on Tuesday.
