Missy Gators’ soccer season comes to an end

Vicksburg High School girl’s soccer team’s season came to an end on Monday night after a 7-0 loss to Saltillo.

“We had a good season we had some ups and some downs and we played some bigger schools that we normally wouldn’t play,” said head coach Samantha Bailey. We had some learning opportunities but overall we did well.”

Despite the loss, the Missy Gators finished as district champions under Bailey’s leadership.

“Next week I’ll start working on a schedule for next and we’ll go from there,” Bailey said.

The Missy Gators will be returning all players next season so the future tends to be bright for the young team as Bailey is in her second season as head coach.
