Missy Gators soccer team defeated Greenville on Monday

Vicksburg High School girl’s soccer team grabbed a 3-1 win over Greenville on Monday in their home opener.

Trinity McGloster got things going for the Missy Gators in the 17th minute of the first half, after getting an assist from defensive player Kristiana Nevels. She also got her second goal of the year from a penalty kick in the 60th minute.

As the Missy Gators maintained their lead, Amari Johnson got the final score with an assist by McGloster.

VHS is coached by Samantha Bailey and they will host Warren Central on Thursday.

Unfortunately for the boy’s team, Greenville was able to hand them a tough 4-1 loss.
