MLB player Matt Davison tests positive for COVID-19

Cincinnati Reds infielder Matt Davidson has tested positive for COVID-19.
Davidson played Friday against the Tigers where he helped his team to a 7-1 win. He is now on the Reds’ 10-day injured list.
Multiple Major League Baseball players have tested positive since the pandemic began but Davidson is the first to test positive after a game. Some players, such as Travis d’Arnaud and Tyler Flowers, had COVID-19 symptoms but never tested positive, but they decided not to travel with the Braves over the weekend.
Davidson is not eligible to return to his team until he tests negative twice for the virus and remains without a fever for 72 hours.
