The Strand Theatre (717 Clay St.) presents “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” this Saturday, Sept. 28, at 9:30 p.m.

The Holy Grail: most sacred relic and most serious subject—until Monte Python and the Flying Circus came along

In this comedy classic from 1975, King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table embark on a surreal, low-budget search for the Holy Grail, encountering many very silly obstacles.

The film was directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones, and stars all the Flying Circus regulars: Graham Chapman, John Cleese,Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin.

Advance tickets are $6 and are available at Highway 61 Coffeehouse (1101 Washington St.). Tickets are $8 at the door.
