Morgan struck out 12 to lead WC over Cleveland Central on Monday

Warren Central High School softball team crushed Cleveland Central 13-3 on Monday night.

Hits by Kamryn Morson and Adalyn Anderson helped WC go up 6-1 at the end of the first inning after the Lady Vikes collected multiple runs..

By the end of the third, WC was up 10-1 after Mary Evelyn Hossley got a double while Abby Morgan and Sarah Cameron Fancher both got RBIs.

Late in the win, Madie Pant singled on a fly ball that brought in two more runs while Kennedi McKay also grabbed a hit to bring in the final score in the 13-3 win.

Morgan did her thing in the runner by striking out 12 in four innings and only allowing two hits. Pant came in late and struck out two.

Morgan went 3 for 3 at the plate while went 2 for 3. McKay, Kayleigh Karel, Tyra Bridges, Makayla Jackson, Jenn Smith, Pant, Fancher and Morson all had one hit.

WC will travel to Loyd Star on Thursday.
