(Tennessee) An arrest has been made in connection with the alleged murder of a 50-year-old woman, identified as the daughter of Carolyn Garrett.
WLBT reports Carolyn Garrett has been charged with first-degree murder. The incident came to the attention of the police when they received a report about a suspicious person at a residence on Keen Road in Memphis on Tuesday morning.
Upon arrival at the scene, the officers discovered a woman lying in the street near the driveway of the house. She was found covered in blood and had sustained multiple stab wounds. The Memphis Fire Department was called to the location, and they pronounced the victim deceased at 12:22 a.m.
