MSU defeats Samford

Mississippi State University baseball team defeated Samford on Friday in a 8-4 win.

Will Bednar was on the mound for the Bulldogs, pitching seven innings and came up with eight strikeouts on the day.

Rowdey Jordan drove in three run scores for MSU and went 3 for 5 at the plate. Luke Hancock had perfect game at the plate, going 3 for 3 with RBIs.

The Bulldogs walked away with a total of 11 hits on the day and they will play on Saturday against the winner of the VCU and Campbell game.
