MSU football player opts out of 2020 season

Mississippi State University cornerback Taury Dixon is opting out of playing football in 2020 and is entering the transfer portal.
Dixon posted his plans to transfer on Twitter Monday.
After prayer and careful consideration, I have decided to opt out of the Fall 2020 season and Grad transfer in December. I am thankful for all Mississippi State has done for me. #HailState pic.twitter.com/o7JtIUfBYe

Dixon spent two seasons at East Mississippi Community College playing under head coach Buddy Stephens before going to MSU. He saw action in five games last season for the Bulldogs.
Dixon is doing a graduate transfer which means he will be clear to play football without having to sit out a season.
