Multiple individuals charged in connection with shooting at Windsor Arms Apartments

Multiple individuals have been charged in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the city limits at the Windsor Arms Apartments on Apr. 30.

The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department reported it received numerous 911 calls reporting shots being fired in the area at around 5:40 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies found several vehicles that had been shot and collected 27 shell casings as evidence.

Following a thorough investigation, Jabarrie McCauley and Emanuel Williams have been charged with Shooting into a Dwelling. Hamilton Tory and Jamarrious Hamilton have been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and Shooting into a Dwelling. These individuals were all guests at the apartment of Samario Good when an altercation broke out, leading to the use of weapons and the discharge of firearms.

Sheriff Goods praised his Investigation Team for their swift response to the incident and their efforts in apprehending those responsible for this senseless act. An initial appearance for the suspects has been scheduled for Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.
