MVC on Fisher Ferry

An MVC occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Fisher Ferry Road.

According to an eyewitness, a Warren County work truck went off the road after avoiding hitting a deputy who was getting a turtle out of the roadway. Two people have been transported to the hospital for what appears to be minor injuries.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the Vicksburg Fire Department, and Fisher Ferry units responded to the scene along with Warren County Emergency Management.

Traffic is moving slowly in the area at this time.
