Nailor Road victim identified

Authorities have released the identity of the individual that died while driving down Nailor Road on Sunday.

Warren County Coroner Doug Husky said that Anthony DeWayne Nash, 49, “died from natural causes.”

At around 7 p.m. Sunday, Nash and a passenger were traveling down Nailor Road when a medical event caused Nash to lose consciousness and subsequently leave the roadway, resulting in a crash.  The passenger was not injured.

Nailor Road was shut down for a period of time while life-saving measures were employed by Vicksburg and Warren County responders.  Unfortunately, Nash did not respond to the efforts.
