NAMI Vicksburg offering two free courses beginning Feb. 17

Registration is underway for the free Spring 2020 National Alliance on Mental Illness mental-health education courses in Vicksburg.

Both courses begin on Feb. 17 and will be taught on Mondays from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

NAMI “Family-to-Family,” is a 12-session course for families and friends of adults living with a mental illness. The class will be held at River Region Merit Health west campus (1111 North Frontage Road) in the conference room.

NAMI “BASICS,” is a 6-session program for parents of children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional issues. Classes will be held at Warren-Yazoo Behaviour Health (3444 Wisconsin Ave.) in the conference room.

Pre-registration is required to reserve a seat and book.
