Nancy Twiner Hatcher, 1943 – 2021

Nancy Twiner Hatcher passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 77.

Nancy was born on November 30, 1943 the daughter of James Albert Twiner and Evelyn Emma Fife Twiner.  She graduated from Port Gibson High School and worked as a Customer Service Representative for National Plastics and Fuel Man.  She was a member of Stepping Stones Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Hatcher; her parents and siblings Jarvis Clyburn, Nannette Williams and Wanda Twiner.

She is survived by her son Kery Hatcher; daughter Freida Hatcher; brothers Wilburn Clyburn, James Twiner (Patsy) and Joe Twiner (Katha); sisters Sylvia Saxon (Gerald) and Winnie Biddleman (Rick); grandchildren Kalyn Carter Dunn (Nick) and Jack Johnson; great-grandson Wynne Williams.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson, MS.  A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County.  The service will be officiated by Rev. James Twiner

Pallbearers will be Kery Hatcher, Nick Dunn, Jack Johnson, Wynne Williams, Tim Clyburn, Michael Hatcher, James Hatcher, Britton Hatcher, Dean Hatcher, and Eddie Hatcher.
