Natalie Clanton returning to Hinds CC Hi-Steppers as captain

Vicksburg’s Natalie Clanton is returning to the Hinds Community College Hi-Steppers precision dance team for the 2020-2021 school year as one of its captains.

The Hinds Hi-Steppers are one of the oldest precision dance lines in the nation and perform at football games, exhibitions, parades, and community and charitable events. The Hi-Steppers are under the direction of Angela Hite of Raymond.

Hinds announced the returning and new members of the team in a statement Tuesday.

Other returning members include captain April Lee, of Raymond; Merritt Bynum and Courtney Cummins, both of Brandon; and Allyson Hartling, of Clinton.

New members include: Mykayla Balfour, of Brandon, Shelby Bounds, of Florence, Morgan Craft, of Clinton, Jamia Davenport, of Canton, Lachlyn Gregory, of Clinton, Janessa Kersh, of Byram, Kadie Lee, of Raymond, Madie Page, of Carthage, Natalie Peltz, of Brandon, Maddy Smith, Alex Thomas, both of Florence, and Tabriyana White, of Jackson.
