Natchez Trace motorcycle accident victim identified

Claiborne County Coroner J.W. Mallett has identified the victim involved in yesterday’s crash on the Natchez Trace as Kevin Monroe Jones, 48 of Vicksburg.

The crash was reported just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Jones was pronounced deceased by Mallett at the scene near mile marker 26 on the Trace. The accident remains under investigation by Natchez Trace Park Rangers.

Fisher-Riles Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
