Nathan Theo Dollar, 1945 – 2023

Nathan Theo Dollar, 77, of Vicksburg, passed away on January 14, 2023.
Nathan was born on June 28, 1945, to Lester and Annie Dollar in Monroe, Louisiana. In 1965, Nathan met Joyce at a party on Bell Avenue in Monroe, Louisiana. At the time Nathan was driving a 1954 Chevy (he always had a passion for classic cars), which caught her eye. Nathan and Joyce married on October 8, 1966, and went on to have four children: Tiffany, Jeffrey, Misty, and Kassidy.
In 2011, Nathan retired from Pipefitters Local 619 having worked at Grand Gulf, International Paper, TVA, Bechtel, LeTourneau, Furmanite, ANO (Arkansas Nuclear One), Baxter Wilson, and Waterford to name a few. After retirement, Nathan enjoyed spending his time restoring antique furniture and was always eager to get involved with family and friends’ DIY projects.
His methodical, artistic mind and mechanical skills combined to create ingenious solutions. Nathan always had solutions and could fix anything where others didn’t know where to start. He wore many hats and was a self-proclaimed carpenter, plumber, electrician, mechanic, woodworker, inventor, and the list goes on.
Nathan was predeceased by his parents, Lester Dollar and Annie Barron Dollar.
