Nearly 1800 without power – trees are down in several locations in the county
High winds are playing havoc with power poles around Warren County and nearly 1800 people are without power at this moment.
The largest number of people are off of Culkin and Oak Ridge Roads in the county. A single outage is affecting 1608 people in this area.
A tree fell on a power line earlier on Oak Ridge around the time the outage was reported. Crews are working on repair and estimate to have the problem repaired by 11:30 p.m.
As we were typing this report another call came in reporting a tree down at Wisconsin and Porters Chapel.
It is one of several trees and lines down in Warren County at this time.
If you don’t have to go out you should avoid travel as a tree or power line could fall at any time.
