Nine sworn in as officers for the Tyner Post-213

Nine members of the Tyner Post-213 were sworn in as officers last week.

Commander Willie Green, Howard McGee, Alonzo Stevens, Yolanda Morrow, Derwin Shields, Robert Hubbard, Linda Stevens, Charlie Tolliver and Sammy Rainy were each sworn in and will remain in their position for the 2022-2023 year.

TFP 213 has been around since 1946 and was formed as a group of black veterans who wanted to help serve their community. They received their full charter in 1949 and have remained loyal to God and their community every since.
