Nissan is recalling more than 394,000 late model sedans and SUVs due to potential fire concerns.

Reports say in some cases, the antilock brake pump could leak causing electrical shorts and the vehicles to catch fire.

Nissan is warning that if antilock brake lights stay on for more than 10 seconds, drivers should park the vehicle outdoors until it can be repaired.

Vehicles recalled include:

  • Nissan Murano SUVs from 2015 through 2018
  • Nissan Maxima sedans from 2016 through 2018.
  • Nissan Pathfinder SUVs from 2017 through 2019.
  • Infiniti QX60 from 2017 through 2019

Nissan dealers will replace the defective pumps. The company will send vehicle owners notices Dec. 2, and a second notice when repair parts are available.
