Norma Nanette Leach, 1937-2022

Norma “Nanette” Richardson Leach passed away on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at the age of 84.

Nanette was born September 9, 1937, the daughter of Floyd Ezell and Agnes Richardson. She retired from Farm Bureau Casualty after 32 years but continued to work seasonally for Graduate Supply in Jackson until 2021. She had a green thumb and enjoyed her yard full of flowers. The hummingbird feeder on her porch was her favorite thing to watch.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Billy Leach, sister Jane Wilson, son-n-law Jeff Smith and grandson-n-law Brad Pennington.

She is survived by daughters Vickie Fisher (Andy) and Tammy Smith, son Jeff Leach, sister Faye Holladay (Bruce), grandchildren Jordan Pennington, Haley Davis (Evan), Jackson Smith and Delaney Fisher, great grandchild Westin Pennington. Her faithful companion Spirit, never left her side.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday August 20, 2022, at Utica Baptist Church with Bro. Rocky Henriques officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the hour of service. Graveside service will follow at Utica Cemetery in Utica, MS.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Smith, Evan Davis, Mike Patterson, Cole Dennis.
