The North American Railcar Operators Association (NARCOA) will be visiting and touring Vicksburg on Saturday. NARCOA is a non-profit organization who is dedicated to the preservation and safe, legal operation of railroad equipment historically used for maintenance of way.
NARCOA personnel will arrive behind the Old Depot Museum around 8:30 a.m. and travel to the International Paper Vicksburg Mill. The group will followup with trips to local museums in the area.
NARCOA has over 1,400 members worldwide. Members operate privately owned railroad motorcars throughout the US and Canada.
