Ole Miss head baseball coach Mike Bianco will be a Rebel for at least four more years.

Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Keith Carter announced Tuesday that Bianco received a four-year contract extension, and he also mentioned how excited Ole Miss is to keep Bianco.

“Mike is one of the best baseball coaches in the nation, and this contract is intended to ensure he remains a Rebel for a long time,” Carter said in a statement. “Year in and year out, Mike has established Ole Miss as one of the premier programs in college baseball, and I don’t think there is a hotter team in the country heading into next season.

Bianco has been with the Rebels for 20 years, and he has become the program’s all time leader in wins with a 767-440-1 record. He recently won the National Coach of the Year Award after going 16-1 this past season before games were cut short due to COVID-19.

With his 20 seasons at Ole Miss, Bianco is now the longest-serving head coach in the Southeastern Conference.
