One person was arrested in Port Gibson and charged with two commercial burglaries.

Port Gibson Police Chief Russel Dorsey reports, “After investigating a burglary at BankPlus on Farmer Street Thursday morning in Port Gibson, the suspect was arrested Thursday night by myself and also charged with an additional after I was able to connect him to a burglary that took place last Tuesday at the Claiborne County Health Center on Market Street.”

Arrested was 21-year-old Andy Williams of Port Gibson. Williams was recently released on a burglary and auto theft he committed last year in the county.

Williams is being charged with two counts of burglary. Judge Mareesha Odom set his bond at $40,000.
